I was playing at Ionians at the time and travelling back and forth from Wakefield to Hull and it’s fair to say that Ben and Josh both suggested coming across to Sandal to train and play there, haven’t looked back since!

2.) Best and worse memory of playing rugby?

My worst is probably ironically my first season at Sandal as I ended up either in a cast or sling for about 24 weeks of the year that season! My best is coming this weekend….

3.) Who the most underrated player at sandal and why

Most underrated player at Sandal for me is Seb Marley. Always turns up, puts in a solid performance and defensively he always puts a big hit in.

4.) Who’s name are you always happy to see on the team sheet on a game day and why

I always feel better knowing and seeing Scott Seckham's name on the team sheet, whenever I’ve had him outside of me at 12, I always know the game plan and how to best utilise him, I think we’ve played enough games together now that we know each other’s playing style very well.

5.) Favourite food and drink

At Sandal, my favourite drink is naturally a Guiness, food wise, you can’t beat a BBQ as that also means you’re in summer baby!!

6.) Who better at rugby Ben or Josh Wilson?

Tough question, especially as they both play very different positions, and both of them can be hugely impactful players when they’re on the pitch. I’m going to have to go with the one that gave me the try assist just a few weeks ago purely for the return in favour, so I’ll say Ben today… Josh, if you give me a try assist, you’re back in.

7.) If you had pick only one of the Wilson’s to go on a night out with who would it be?

Absolutely neither of them, both liabilities and nightmares to go on a night out with. Although, they do provide good entertainment.

8.) In a kicking contest who would kick more points you or Baz?

Long shots me ;-) In the wind… neither of us! Haha!

9.) Why does Mike Knowles call you Mr. St Tropez?

I think it’s because he’s jealous of my very natural olive skin colour and can only wish he had my rugged looks and handsomeness.

10.) What’s special about Sandal and what keeps you playing?

The group, they’re a class group of lads, and it’s not just on the field, we’ve had some great socials off the pitch, on the way back from games, but you always know everybody in that shirt is going to put their body on the line.
