Match Preview

In our second home game of the season, we welcome Lymm to Milnthorpe Green.

Lymm are very much in form at this time as they’ve won both league fixtures against Billingham and Morley, securing bonus points from each game. Lymm currently sit second in the Northern Premier league.

Sandal will be without Tom Coad who suffered a fractured hand during the defeat against Harrogate, but we have others returning from injury who are more than capable. Sandal will look to return to winning ways this weekend and repeat the form shown last season when they did the double on Lymm with wins at home 30-28 at away 23-32.

It promises to be an enthralling contest. The weather at this time looks good with a mild 14 degrees forecast and sunny intervals. Of course, that will probably change to hail and snow, but we always live in hope.
