In round robin format with shorter games first up the mini beasts took on Northern who proved to be a well drilled team capable of some excellent rugby. The Mini Beasts more than held their own and the close scoreline showed how far the girls have come on this season.

After a short break next up was Scarborough, after some really tough games against them earlier in the season the Beasts progress showed again, dominating the game with some excellent individual performances from Darcie with incredible defensive work and strong running and brilliant tackling and rucking from Alice and Pollyanna. Rose and Ruby showed again how they’re gaining in confidence and ability with some quick runs and good distribution.

The final game saw the Mini Beasts take on a combined Scarborough and Northern team. This was another tough but close rugby match, with Lily making some long jinky runs, Freya and Bella both making some yards with direct, aggressive running. Poppy showing again her amazing all round work and Greta finishing off the try of the season (so far) with most of the team involved in the build up. All-in-all the standard of rugby was superb from all sides and a massive thank you to Scarborough and Northern for making the long journeys.
